No one ever answers. I purchased mine years ago and had to activate a backup and now it says I need a new activation code and can't get into the software at all. No one answers, email doesn't exist anymore and website is no longer in service from where I purchased. BAD AND DISAPPOINTED PURCHASE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I am disappointed with the support (not) provided by Bookami. I purchased the program a couple years ago and loved the software. I folded four books and my laptop crashed (nothing to do with Bookami software). I tried off and on for over a year to get someone from Bookami to help me get my program up and running again. But I NEVER received a response. I tried everything I could possible figure out to do, including two or three different email addresses, all to no avail. I finally forgot I even had the program. However, this year, as for the past two years, I want to make Bookami projects for Christmas gifts. Now I can't even get an email to go through. I am getting an error message telling me the store is no longer available....? I have wonderful things to say about the program itself, but I wasted my money on it since I can't get it to work or get someone to help me get it to work. I wish I had spent the extra money to get the disc version instead of the downloadable version.
So wish I had seen the reviews before I purchased this. No replies to emails, phone number has been disconnected. Will have to take matter up with the bank. I wonder if anybody gets the activation code or is it a scam?
Husband purchased in November for a Christmas present, been trying since Christmas to get an activation code it's now January 25th and still no code absolutely shocking customer service, have sent numerous messages to be told code is going to be sent that day, why not just send the code and not a message to say you are going to send it, and guess what still nothing. Absolutely ridiculous
Purchased this for my wife's Christmas present. I installed the software from the CD, and messaged Bookami for my activation code on Christmas night. It's now the 23rd of January, and after nigh on a month of no response whatsoever, in the last week I've had 3 messages apologising saying they'll send my code that day. If I didn't need their software, and more to the point, if they'd answer, I've a good mind to ask for a refund!
Ordered, paid, for some mad reason you have to wait for a code to be manually sent. 24hrs later they cannot send a simple email when they claim to be open 9-5. I would look for alternative if I were you. Cancelled my order, waiting for refund.
Purchased this on Black Friday with their discount, was supposed to get an activation code in 24 hours after you send in the code with your email that is with the app to unlock the software. It is Sunday now...still nothing from them. Yet I get an email from them to review the product in the same email I used to get the activation code. What gives!!!
